The Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce elected Erika Velazquez as its new board chair, marking a milestone in the organization's continued growth and commitment to the Latino business community. Velazquez steps into the role at a pivotal time as the Chamber expands its reach, strengthens advocacy, and increases value for its members across Napa County.
Velazquez succeeds Bernie Narvaez, who led the board through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and helped rebuild the organization's foundation. Narvaez will continue serving on the board as government affairs director, focusing on legislative advocacy and public policy issues impacting Latino businesses at the local, regional, and state levels.
The transition reflects the Chamber's momentum — new leadership, a growing membership, and a deepening commitment to making sure Latino business owners aren't just included, but empowered to thrive.
